Elizabeth was born in Mexico, grew up in California, and now lives in West Vancouver with her husband Jesse and two children who are both happy members of the Mulgrave School community, as well. She earned a BA in French Literature from the University of California, San Diego and a B.Ed and MA from National University.
In 2017, Elizabeth was an EMA CERPP Scholar and completed the 30-week Certificate in Enrollment Management program through USC’s Rossier School of Education. Before moving to Canada, she spent 10 years as a language arts teacher in Grades 1-6. Now as an administrator, Elizabeth feels fortunate to be able to see the value of an independent school education from the perspective of a parent, teacher, and Admissions Director.
Elizabeth is passionate about education and helping families find the school where they can be supported in their ambitions and interests, even if it isn't always the school she represents. Fostering collaboration among schools and guiding parents through a journey that can be challenging and making it as painless and authentic as possible is her passion.
