Heather is currently the assistant head of school for enrollment management & director of admission at Indian Mountain School (CT).

Heather is currently the assistant head of school for enrollment management & director of admission at Indian Mountain School (CT). This newest post follows many years of experience in schools. A graduate of Loomis Chaffee School (CT), Heather earned a BA in history from Williams College and an M.S.Ed. in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

Following Williams, Heather taught at The American Overseas School of Rome (AOSR) and then resided in New York City and Boston for six years, holding positions in public relations and communications, corporate strategic planning and marketing, portfolio management, and accounting. Returning to independent schools in 2006, Heather served as the director of financial aid and associate dean of admission at Blair Academy for eight years where she was also a dorm head, the head girls’ track coach, and a class academic dean.

Heather then served as director of admission operations at The Hotchkiss School (Connecticut), where she also ran a girls’ dorm, coached the hurdlers on the track team, and served as a faculty advisor. She has served on the ALC since its establishment in 2009.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
