Is a student allowed to fill out a form that is set up as "not required"?

If your application does not require a component, the student may not complete that component in the SAO system if they are applying to your school only.

If they are applying to multiple schools and one of the other schools requires that component, the student will complete and submit it, but that will never be delivered as part of your application unless it is required. However, if you set up the standard form as optional, you will receive that form if the student completes it as part of your application or any other.
