The Student Prospect List is continually being updated with families who are still looking for a school post traditional deadlines. This means you can easily build a targeted list of potential families to reach out to late admits and fill seats for the upcoming year.

Target qualified potential late admit students who have taken The SSAT, The Snapshot or created a Standard Application Online.

Target Qualified Late Admits

Reach out to hundreds of families that are actively seeking schools post traditional deadlines.

The student prospect list is dynamic.

Parents of students may optin and opt out from the service at any time during the year. Pull a new list before each communication to ensure you are excluding families who choose to opt out through EMA's system. Ensure you are sending your email communications to engaged audience!

Remind parents how you got their information. Parent receive a lot of emails and information from various channels. Add a copy on the footer “You are receiving this email as you recently created a student account on portal.ssat.org”. Helps them join the dots

Focus on smaller groups within the list. Target families that may be most familiar with your school by filtering on location, or narrow in by students interests and profile. This will start a history of emails that are likely to be opened rather than sent to spam. Parents love personalized emails!

Have a Conspicuous Unsubscribe Link

Be compliant with US CAN-SPAM act. Provide your prospective families a clear option to opt out from your school communication is critical.

Perform A/B Testing: Test one element at a time, sending two versions of your mailer or email to two separate segments of your list. Determine what gets the most interest and use that going forward. Use descriptive headers and strong call to actions.

Pay attention to your metrics: It’s important to choose which metrics you want to measure against before you send and consistently monitor them with each send so you can track your improvements.

What filters are included in the Student Prospect List?

Basic Filters include:
• Student and Parent names
• Mailing address and GDPR compliant email addresses
• Academic profile (current grade, current school type,
interested year of entry, interested in day/boarding programs)
• Demographic profile (date of birth, country, gender,
native language, ethnicity, location and distance from school)
Advanced Filters include:
Student interests and activities
• Median Household Income and home value by zip code
• SSAT Score percentiles (verbal, reading, quantitative, total)
• "Actively looking" indicator (families looking for schools outside traditional deadlines)

Student Prospect list is available for yearly subscription. It includes qualified students who are actively seeking admission into independent schools in academic year. The subscription include unlimited access to the data for the year, in addition to the unlimited downloads.
