What is the SAO and Vericant integration?

The SAO and Vericant integration streamlines the application process for international students and families. The Standard Application Online (SAO) allows families to apply to multiple schools with a single account, while Vericant provides verified video interviews and authentic writing samples to help schools assess a student’s real-time English communication skills.

With the integration, students can link their SAO and Vericant accounts, allowing SAO to automatically display their Vericant interview status within 24 hours. Schools can configure Vericant requirements in the Member Access Portal, marking interviews as required or optional, specifying by grade, student type, or location, and publishing updates so families see them directly in SAO.

For families, linking accounts is simple: from SAO, select "Connect to Vericant" under Standard Components, or from Vericant, choose "Data Integration" on the dashboard. Schools and families can contact Vericant at info@vericant.com for help or additional information.
