Justin is entering his fifth year in the Office of Admission and Financial Aid at San Francisco University High School, and his first as Director of Financial Aid. After graduating from Amherst College with degrees in history and art history, he jumped headlong into the classroom, first as a humanities instructor and mentor at the Head-Royce School in Oakland, CA, and then at the Horace Mann School in the Bronx. After pursuing his MA in private school leadership from the Klingenstein Center at Teachers College, Columbia University, Justin turned his focus to enrollment management. He is driven to expand access to independent schools through intentional relationship building across differences and leveraging data to improve outcomes for students and families.
Outside of admissions, he can be found in a gym coaching high school basketball or chasing his toddler and rescue dog through the streets of San Francisco with his wife.
