Michael O'Neill

Michael O’Neill is the Director of Admissions at Taipei American School, a role he’s held for eight years. He has lived in Taiwan for 18 years, working in education the entire time—across enrollment management, teaching, international study, and publishing. As a graduate of The Governor’s Academy, an independent school in Byfield, MA, Michael has a personal appreciation for enrollment work and the communities it builds. Michael values connection and growth, both personally and professionally. He has organized conferences at TAS and presented at events across the region, always looking to exchange ideas and learn from others. He and his wife have two children who also attend TAS, making his work especially meaningful. Michael is honored to receive EMA’s Rising Star Award and grateful to be part of a dedicated network of professionals helping shape the future of independent and international school education.
