Misty Shipley is currently the Director of Finance and Operations at UNIS. She previously served as the Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations at the Seoul Foreign School. Her Bachelor of Science is in Organizational Development and she has a Master of Business Administration with a specialty in international business.
She is currently pursuing a doctorate in education. She is a Certified School Business Specialist in Accounting, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and is Certified in Risk Management Assurance. Prior to moving overseas, she worked in various public and private schools and organizations and held titles such as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Internal Auditor, Director of Administration and teacher at Austin Business College in Texas.
She has experience volunteering for non-profits and serving on non-profit and education-related boards.
