Peter is a 35-year veteran of boarding schools with 25 years of experience in middle and secondary school admissions, development, marketing and communications work. For his first ten years, Peter worked in coed schools, both boarding and day: The Rectory School, Collegiate School and Tilton School. Peter has been with Salisbury School since 1998. For most of his time at Salisbury, he has filled the role of Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, traveling extensively in the United States and abroad promoting the Salisbury experience. Since 2019, Peter has directed the advancement team with an externally focused lens to support programs and personnel with fundraising, marketing, and communications.

Peter has been active with various professional admissions leadership positions including the Admissions Leadership Council, Character Skills Snapshot G32, and the North American Boarding Initiative Advisory Council.

Currently, Peter is on the Advisory/Faculty for the Admissions Director Institute (ADI) at the EMA Conference and is the Co-Director of the Erdmann Institute.He has presented often on various admissions and leadership related topics at the NAIS, TABS, SSATB/EMA, and IECA conferences.

Peter has been recognized for his professional accomplishments by being awarded The Enrollment Management Association William B. Bretnall Award Recipient 2016, For Exemplary Contribution to the Field of Independent School Admission.
