EMA and USC Rossier School of Education have partnered to offer an online certificate program for independent school enrollment leaders. USC Rossier's Center for Enrollment Research, Policy and Practice (CERPP) offers The Leadership in Enrollment Management Certificate program which is 25 weeks in length, with 20 weeks of instruction by enrollment management topic, and 5 weeks of understanding case studies and creating a robust case study with solutions, along with a professional development plan.
USC Certificate Program application deadline is September 12, 2022.
Balmer Scholarship deadline is September 16, 2022. Note: You will need to be accepted to the USC program to receive the scholarship, but the application does not need to be complete to apply for a Balmer Scholarship.
Session 1: Sept. 26-Dec. 1, 2022 (Thanksgiving break: Nov. 2-27)
Session 2: Jan. 2-March 12, 2023
Session 3: March 13-April 13, 2023
The curriculum covers enrollment management in institutional and societal contexts, information and knowledge management, pricing and aid policy, college admission policy and practice, retention organization, leadership, and case studies.
You will gain:
Tuition for the full 25-week USC Leadership in Enrollment Management certificate program is $10,000. The tuition is payable by the first day of the course unless otherwise arranged. A three-part payment plan is available upon request. There may be a small fee for course materials (not to exceed $100).

EMA offers ten $5,000 Balmer Scholarships to members each year. In recognition of the exceptional contributions of the late Dr. Stephanie Balmer to the advancement of enrollment management, EMA's trustees named our scholarship to USC's Leadership in Enrollment Management Certificate program in her honor.
Any independent school professional who is a current EMA member for at least two (2) years is eligible to apply to this scholarship after receiving admission into the USC program.
