Director, Family Marketing
With nearly 20 years of experience in the independent school industry, Daren Worcester joined EMA in November of 2020 as the associate director of demand generation for family marketing.

A former advertising copywriter, Daren previously worked 18 years combined with WhippleHill and Blackbaud. During his time on the WhippleHill professional services team, he helped hundreds of independent schools through the website development process and provided SEO and information architecture consultation. More recently, he assisted schools as the principal content marketing manager on Blackbaud K–12’s marketing team. 

Daren has conducted numerous industry presentations at Blackbaud K–12’s annual user conference, CASE-NAIS, ISANNE, and Partners in Mission. 

The author of “Open Season: True Stories of the Maine Warden Service,” a 2017 publication of Down East Books, Daren’s writing has also appeared in Backpacker and Down East magazines. 

In his free time, Daren volunteers in his community as a Cub Scout den leader and soccer coach.
