Director of Membership & Business Development
As a relationship-driven and data-driven educator, Kitsana Salyphone brings nearly 20 years of independent school experience to EMA.

With a breadth and depth across operations including admission; enrollment management; summer programs; tuition revenue and assistance; diversity, equity, and inclusion; database management; advancement; marketing; and communications, she counts among of her proudest achievements increasing and supporting students and families of color, co-authoring Diversity Statements, and contributing to strategic plans.

Kitsana worked at several independent schools such as The Chicago Academy for the Arts (IL), Quest Academy (IL), The Carey School (CA), and Crystal Springs Uplands School (CA). She served as Board of Director at People of Color in Independent Schools of Northern California and Advisory Board Member at Summerbridge at San Francisco University High School (CA).

Kitsana holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University. An avid reader and master of tsundoku, she revels basking in the sun with a dystopian novel, historical fiction, or The Yield.
