For Non-SSAT Users
Using The Snapshot
Schools that do not utilize the SSAT in their admission process must inform applying families that they should take The Snapshot. We provide language for your website here.
Parents/guardians create an SSAT parent account, provide electronic consent, and sign an integrity statement, then submit the $35.00 Snapshot fee. They then create accounts for their students, who will see a link to take The Snapshot on their account homepages. Students must also agree to abide by an integrity statement prior to taking The Snapshot.
The Snapshot may then be taken by the student via their student account in the comfort of their home (or in a location of their choosing with internet access). The Snapshot is not permitted to be given at schools, and is not available on mobile devices.

The Snapshot is untimed but takes approximately 25 minutes to complete in one sitting.
Snapshot reports are available on parent/guardian accounts, and can be sent from there directly to schools. Reports are available approximately two weeks from the date of Snapshot completion.
Fee Waivers
Fee waivers are available for families who require financial assistance to take The Snapshot.
